Image Composer Effects

Open the fireman picture in Image Composer.  The image is located on the Shared drive\Publisher folder\fireman

Create/edit the fireman picture in the 5 ways described.  Similar to what we did with the picture of you.

You will copy and paste each of these to a blank page in Publisher. Label them with the corresponding number as the demonstration shows. The only one you need to include a label of your effects is #5.

How to use the Select Color Region:  do the best you can and I will clarify anything tomorrow

  1. Cut out a part of the image
  2. Drag that to the side
  3. From that cut out portion, change to the Select Color Region tab on the cut window
  4. Leave the opacity and edge (100 and hard)
  5. Select the wand tool on the left side
  6. Point and click on the firemen, the flag, and the pole
  7. They will turn blue (or some color)
  8. What ever is blue is what you will cut out
  9. Click the cut out button
  10. Move the cut out and you should only get what you just turned blue
