Mouse Trails - what is a mouse trail?

1.  Create a new folder, name it Trails.  Create a page that will have the links to other pages that demonstrate the different mouse trails you created. and name it menu.htm

• Heading:  Mouse Trail Examples
• Intro: Script provided by Dynamic Drive (link to DD site)
• Links:
  • Image Trail
  • Circling text
  • Custom cursor
  • Choice on default (use the name of trail)
• Home button to Default

Create the following mouse trails from Dynamic Drive:

• Image Trail: new folder
  • edit with six different images of your choice, edit sizes (the pictures must relate to each other)
  • source them on the page
  • make transparent if necessary
  • modify the size
• Circling Text Trail (get it working before editing): 
• on a NEW page in the Trails folder named circling.html
• edit with "your favorite Movie title", change font, color, and size
• modify the path (not the default circle...but still can read the text)
• Custom Cursor Script: new folder (we did this as a class)
• create a new page for this example
• edit with an icon of your choice (appropriate for school)
• must be a .ico file type
• source the image on the page
• add a trail of your choice to your default page from dynamic drive (different from those above)

Each of the mouse trails will be on its own page with the following information on it:

• a heading with the trail name
• a link back to your mouse trails menu page
• all pages will be formatted with solid color backgrounds (not white) or an image of your choosing from Quick Link sources (not a google image search)
  • Image trail page:  use a background that would go with your theme of the trail
  • Custom cursor page:  use a background that would go with your image used
• change the title bar

• Roaming Cursor:  obviously there is one you canNOT use!! create a new folder
• add a Fade-away cursor to Quick Links (put the images in the quick links folder)

• Image Trail Script (we did this as a class): create a new folder
  • edit with six different images of your choice, edit sizes (they must relate to each other)
• Circling Text Trail (we did this as a class): 
  • edit with "your favorite Movie title", change font, color, and size
• Cursor Trail Text:
  • edit with your favorite saying, edit font, size and color
• Cursor Trail Text 2: 
  • edit with your first name, edit color
• Elastic Trail Script: create a new folder
• add a trail of your choice to your default page (different from those above)

• Roaming Cursor:  edit with a picture of your head - no hands in picture (use the digital camera), size 100 x 100
